The research is conducted through online surveys administered to the Whanux MR Panel or via the secure service platform, Whanux.com. The provision of any information to us is entirely optional on your part. You are not obligated to provide us with any information; however, your participation as a Panel member, utilization of the Whanux MR panel, and eligibility for accrued rewards may be affected by your decision.

What personal data we collect and how we use it:
n personal information (PII) we collect your name, email, phone number and address that is used only research purposes and only shared with your consent. Other information that is non-PII where we can collect your date of birth, gender, ethnicity, your marital status, employment status and your health information. All the information we collected it will be link to your Whanux MR member account.
We collect, utilize, and disclose personal information solely within the necessary scope to fulfill our research activities, employment processes, and personnel management. We do not employ personal information for any purposes beyond those explicitly stated for specific usage. Our adherence to privacy policies is in strict accordance with applicable laws, government guidelines, and industry standards.
Once submitted, the aforementioned information is securely stored in our Platform, either as part of your member user profile or in association with it. Whanux MR utilizes this information for the following purposes:
- Managing your account administration
- Facilitating the payment of your reward incentives
- Identifying you as a potential participant in specific surveys and product tests
- Communicating with you regarding surveys
- Analyzing your survey responses and generating insights for our clients
- Addressing your customer service inquiries
- Enhancing the user experience through site updates

Data Security:
To safeguard your personal data, we have implemented comprehensive security measures designed to prevent accidental loss, unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Moreover, we restrict access to your personal data to employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a legitimate business need to access such information. These individuals will process your personal data solely based on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

How we Secure your Personal Information:
Whanux MR ensures the secure storage of personal information and survey data through two physically separate server environments hosted by providers that comply with EU-US Privacy Shield and GDPR regulations. We prioritize the security of user data during the collection process as well. To achieve this, any data collected by Whanux MR is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security technology.
For client deliverables, Whanux MR employs a ‘pseudonymous’ data management framework. This means that the survey data we gather is aggregated and anonymized with data from other members. Whanux MR analyzes this aggregate data to generate analytical insights for our clients. Consequently, any data shared with clients or data processors will never include personally identifiable information (PII) associated with individual members.
We strive to adhere to industry standards in protecting your personal information, going above and beyond whenever possible. However, it’s important to note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. Therefore, we cannot provide a 100% guarantee of its security. In the event of a breach or loss of personal data, we will directly contact our members and/or clients, providing them with all relevant information pertaining to the incident.
We ensure that our members provide their consent voluntarily and with full awareness:
New panel joiners are required to agree on our Terms of Participation and Privacy Policy, and they retain the right to revoke this consent at any time. However, it’s important to note that revoking consent will impact their ability to participate as a Panel member, utilize the Whanux MR panel, and receive payment for accrued rewards.
At Whanux MR, we prioritize members’ control over communication volume. You have the authority to determine the extent of communication you receive from us. If you choose to become a Panel member and participate in surveys, we may ask classification and demographic questions e.g., gender, age, profession, postal/Zip code to assess your eligibility.
Children’s policy under age 13:
Our intention is to refrain from knowingly soliciting data from or engaging in marketing activities targeting children under the age of 13. The utilization of this Site and the Whanux MR Platform is contingent, in part, upon the user certifying that they are at least 13 years old. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should promptly contact us at sales@whanux.ca. Once confirming the request, we delete the data received from the children.
Cookie & Tracking Policy:
We and third-party content providers, advertisers, or service providers on our platform utilize various technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and others (collectively referred to as “Technologies”) to automatically gather information while you use our Services.

Whanux Market Research Pvt Ltd. is a company headquartered in Canada. As the controller of the personal information, you provide us, Whanux MR contracts with software providers who act as processors of this information. While anonymized data and analytical insights may be shared with our clients, they will never have control over or process your personal data unless you provide them with explicit authorization.
